Life Sciences, Takeda Strike $100M Pact

30, 2007--LG
Life Sciences (LGLS) and Takeda Pharmaceutical Company
have struck a collaboration based on LGLS’ obesity
program to discover, develop, and commercialize
anti-obesity drugs.
Takeda will select the compounds and will have an
exclusive right to them for the worldwide market excluding
Korea and Vietnam, and a semi-exclusive right for India.
Payments due LGLS could
exceed $100
