Astellas Licenses Regeneron’s Antibody Technology for Up To $120M

March 30, 2007--Astellas Pharma has obtained non-exclusive rights to utilize Regeneron Pharmaceuticals’ VelocImmune technology in its internal research programs to discover human monoclonal antibody product candidates. Astellas will pay $20 million upfront and will make up to five additional annual payments of $20 million. Astellas will also pay a royalty on sales of any commercialized products discovered using VelocImmune. Astellas Pharma
