2007--Takeda Pharmaceutical Company has announced its imminent acquisition of Paradigm Therapeutics. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The merger replaces and builds upon the two companies’ 2005 CNS therapeutic area alliance. The integration of Paradigm’s technologies and researchers into Takeda will help accelerate processes such as the validation of drug targets, the creation of animal models, and the optimization of drug candidates.
