Accused of Hiding Link Between Antidepressant and
Suicide in Teens
January 29, 2007--The
BBC plans to air a program on Monday that accuses
GlaxoSmithKline of distorting clinical trial results
of its antidepressant Seroxat and covering up a link
with suicide in teenagers. A summary
of the program is on the BBC Web site. A Glaxo
spokeswoman denied the company had improperly withheld
any trial information and said results from pediatric
studies were documented and submitted to regulators in
